Instructor Profile:
Douglas M. Greene, Esq has a decade of experience as a disability law attorney. Doug entered private practice full time after he left the Social Security Administration's Office of Disability Adjudication and Review.

While with the Social Security Administration, he served as a Supervisory Attorney Advisor in both the Newark and South Jersey Hearing Offices. In July of 2011, he was promoted to senior attorney advisor for the Jersey City hearing office. He helped launch the office located temporarily at Federal Plaza in New York City by mentoring several new attorneys. Doug has given a lot of trainings as a senior attorney in Jersey City and has led many discussion groups on disability topics. Before joining SSA, Doug was a staff attorney for several years with Legal Services of New Jersey's SSI project, representing claimants before Administrative Law Judges, the Appeals Council and Federal Court.

Doug also did a judicial clerkship with Retired Judge James Mulvihill in the Criminal Division of the New Jersey's Middlesex County. In May of 2005, Doug graduated from Rutgers Newark School of Law, where he was a Dean's Merit Scholarship recipient and teaching assistant. Doug received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers College in May 2000, with high honors in history and political science. While at Rutgers, he was an undergraduate fellow in the Eagleton Institute of Politics.
